The Riverside County School Boards Association is an organization of school board members that promotes cooperation among the various school board members in our County, through which we can speak with a collective voice on educational issues and legislation.
We provide an exchange of information and ideas on current school issues, host programs, workshops and seminars for our members and stakeholders. And provide a local means of professional development for our members.
We pride ourselves in the collaboration with our stakeholder organizations and agencies, as well as our legislative outreach to further our vision of public education.
We are made up of 20 Board of Directors from Riverside County, with all Directors being Delegates of the California School Boards Association. We currently also have At-Large positions that are not delegates.
To ensure a high quality education for every student of Riverside County through advocacy, education and support for school board members, school districts and the community.
The Riverside County School Boards Association envisions a group of County School Districts that have:
A dedicated body of elected leaders whose primary goal is to advocate for our 425,000 students, 34,000 employees and 485 schools in Riverside County
Build the capacity of all School Board members through education regarding their responsibilities and to speak with one voice
Develop effective systems for communicating our mission to all 23 school districts and their communities
